The Human Abstract just launched a new album called “Midheaven” which was released a few days ago on August 16, 2008. Two years earlier, the band released their first their first album, Nocturne.

Athens, GA’ Of Montreal have posted details about their upcoming album, Skeletal Lamping, due out October 7th via Polyvinyl. The album will feature seven different packaging formats, described in detail at Paste.

The LP version will fold out into a three-foot by four-foot horse poster, while the CD packaging will fold out to less dramatic dimensions. The album, however, will also be sold as a T-shirt, tote bag, button set, paper lantern, and wall decal set, all of them including a digital download of the album. The band stated that their goal is to “expand the perception of music packaging beyond traditional flat, square artwork and to bring consumers back to record stores to get it.”

For residents living in residential areas or housing complexes, providing their house with a mail box is necessary so that anytime a postman delivers letters or any of such kinds will just drop them there without calling out the home dwellers. However, a mail box today is not only for mail receiving stuff but also for decorative ornament. That’s why, the design and the material of a mail box matters as well.

OK, I know this isn’t exactly new news, but I’ve been pretty out of everything for a while.

The bands, Teenage Rehab and the Legendary punks, Moral Crux and Pink Lincolns have been confirmed for co-headline slots at this years Insubordination fest.

The fest is a two day event on the dates of June 26-27. The Queers will be the main headliner this year.

This news arrives right on the tail of new releases from all three bands. Teenage Rehab who released an album on March 25th, Moral Crux who has their vinyl/cd release out April 29th and Pink Lincolns who are doing a couple of represses of some way out of print material, along with some new tracks.
