The album itself was praised by magazines such as The Rolling Stone, Times and UK popular weekly magazines, Sounds, as the album of the year of 1978.
Sex Pistols’ God Save The Queen Cover Album
This cover was created by artist Jamie Reid, who created many images for the band, for Sex Pistols’ Album God save The Queen. It was launched in 1977 to coincide with the Queen’s Silver Jubilee Celebration. When the single was released, it got so many against opinion that it was banned on England’s airwaves. However, the single has become the initial fire that sparked the international punk rock movement and thus become the number one song in the entire Great Britain.
